Currently we have {{News}}, which is just a timestamp and a short sentence, possibly with a link. As the game develops, more info will become available at an increasing rate. Should we (the wiki community) take it upon ourselves to write proper articles about these news?

There are no technical problems with it, it would just require an effort. WikiNews: is a thing. With Semantic MediaWiki we can make browsing news by timestamp and keywords easy, and we can put a newsbox on the frontpage/etc. that updates automatically, with whatever parameters we'd like. With Semantic Forms we can make it very easy for novice wiki-users to create articles that follow the correct manual of style.

I could easily set up a system for this myself right now, but i'm not much of a writer, and thus it wouldn't be worth the effort if I was the only one who thought it was a good idea.

Approve - I agree with the Idea, and am in favour of it.

I Approve too. I've been monitoring the Twitter feeds, but I haven't been seeing anything for the past few months. Maybe there is more recent news elsewhere?
